A series of creative workshops for Muslim and non-Muslim women have taken place in Italy, Greece and Bulgaria over 2008. Under the guidance of qualified facilitators, the women experimented with different art forms with a view to express their views and feelings towards the practice hijab in modern day Europe. This has proved a trully emotional and creative journey for all those that participated and brought about a greater appreciation and understanding for each other. The workshops have served as a the backbone for the three distinct plays which have been produced and performed as part of this project.
